Burgermania

Wow, this two weekends ate at Carl's Junior Charbroiled Burgers. Really charbroiled a hole in my wallet T_T... Last weekend dine with MFR at Midvalley, had the Superstar Combo. Yesterday with Dod, Ron and Han Chee at Sunway, demolish a Chili Cheeseburger. While price is double McD burger, but full stomach also double. Long time no yum cha with old collegue mates de, dunno they die or not also. Anyway most doing quite well... And ironicly all also not in s/w development line. Wow, so far... the onli idiot in same line as me is MFR...

Anyway, went to saw Indiana Jones with these junkies yesterday. My Verdict: Wow! Damn Keng la! Amazing! Hou Liao! F*ckin rapid! Damn syok la, see an old uncle jump here jump there... Ok la, not so bad la tis movie... Atleast can sell popcorns la... Better than alot of Hollywood movies (Example Sith Spit, Beowulf).

Sir, how would you like your song raw or well done?

Today, during work, one of my colleague was excited bout who won the American Idol contest. He asked me if I watch American Idol, so I say No. He say I should watch it since it was the best for quite some time... Frankly I wanted to ask him to go see "Once" instead... I dunno about American Idol since I haven't watch it since William Hung made it to the front pages with his *awesome* performance but I just plain like the songs in "Once".

The scene where Glen was singing his heart out, "Say it to Me Now" at the start of the movie with a worn down guitar in the night on a street with no people listening to him (cept one), was simply depressingly beautiful. Quite frankly, I dun think I would like this song so much if I heard it sung in a flawless manner instead of the rough manner it was sung in the movie. Kudos to the film makers to capture the song in their raw form instead of polish form as it really makes the emotions put into singing these song really apparent.

Falling Slowly

Falling Slowly - Glen Hansard

I don't know you
But I want you
All the more for that
Words fall through me
And always fool me
And I can't react
And games that never amount
To more than they're meant
Will play themselves out

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You've made it now

Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black
You have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It's time that you won

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you had a choice
You've made it now

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you had a choice
You've made it now
Falling slowly sing your melody
I'll sing along

~Sing this to me now

Say it to me now - Glen Hansard

I'm scratching at the surface now
And I'm trying hard to work it out
So much has gone misunderstood
This mystery only leads to doubt
And I didn't understand
When you reached out to take my hand
And if you have something to say
You'd better say it now

Cause this is what you've waited for
Your chance to even up the score
And as these shadows fall on me now
I will somehow

Cause this is what you've waited for
A chance to even up the score
And as these shadows fall on me now
I will somehow

Cause I'm picking up a message Lord
And I'm closer than I've ever been before

So if you have something to say
Say it to me now
Say it to me now
Say it to me now
