Chiak gah beh chiak

Ok, dunno y Dicksuke feelin like "I want to be a better man, etc... blablabla...". Anyway Dicksuke wanted to jalan jalan cari makan, so after wishing him a happy b'day (Thanks to notification by Facebook, btw dunno his b'day wat date also since Facebook no put date in da email), I try to con him into treating a true good fren aka me to a expensive dinner. Anyway after a brief lawyer buruk conversation in msn, we ended up setting a trip to Carey Island (My suggestion) to eat hoi sin (Seafood) on the weekend (today).

Been almost 4-5 years since I last ate there. Ate there last time with my relatives whom travel down from Ampang to Klang just to eat there... *Sigh* Dunno y KL ppl like tis, so like to travel *so* far just to eat some cheap food, I mean u count petrol + toll + travel time already cost more than the amount u save eating cheap hoi sin la. So without running from tis blog entry topic, instead of continue complaining about KL ppl (which probably need 10MB space), let me focus on trip to eat hoi sin at Carey Island instead...

The original plan was 5 monks, ehh.. I meant 5 males that are still single and still have no galfren to drive 17km to Carey Island to eat Hoi Sin. Since MFR already had plans to go *fishing* and Acapan didn't response well to eating with us monks, 3 monks good buddies which include Suke, Spelly n me end up making the trip. Suke offered to drive since he wanna showoff his lousy GP@$$ he just bought. Anyway the GP@$$ performance was simply, wat I call "calculating, calculating, calculating...". Sohai GP@$$, Suke took one wrong turn to hollan onli mah, need kau peh kau buu meh... Calculating, Calculating, Calculating... Calculating wat la? Beh hiao, mah kong beh hiao la...

Anyway we reach our destination, Kang Guan Seafood Restaurant just at the left hand side of the bridge to Carey Island. Sori, I no camera or camera on my phone unlike most ppl so can't take pix, so have to rely on simple plain broken english words to describe the dishes we demolished. We ordered:

  • Fried Lala - Dun like eat lala tat clam big. Spelly say ok la tis lala, since no other smell. I wondering he eat punya lala got wat other smell one.

  • Lala omelette - As suke commented, not sticky enuff the lala n the omellete. Need sticky onli when chew got the "WAH" taste mah.

  • Kong Pou Heh Koh - The sos taste very nice, but the heh koh abit hard inside. Prefers the hard outside and soft n tender inside heh koh.

  • XXX Vege - Forgot Chinese name for this sayur de, Typical vege u can see in chinese dishes anyway. So, so...

  • Asam Ang Choh Fish - Nice, the asam sos nice and the fish also yum yum...

We chiak gah beh chiak, ordered too much... When bill come, Rm 78... KL ppl will say "Walau eh, so cheap..." but since I Klang ppl, must act like one so I say "Walan eh, so expensive..." Just kiddin la, Rm 78 ok la, considering we have inflation (Thx to a particular Bodoh punya orang).
