Where's is my Ananda?

Dear bloggie,

All the time. It is miraculous. I even have a superstition that has grown on me as a result of invisible hands coming all the time - namely, that if you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in your field of bliss, and they open doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.

If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Wherever you are -- if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time.

Now, I came to this idea of bliss because in Sanskrit, which is the great spiritual language of the world, there are three terms that represent the brink, the jumping-off place to the ocean of transcendence: sat-chit-ananda. The word "Sat" means being. "Chit" means consciousness. "Ananda" means bliss or rapture. I thought, "I don't know whether my consciousness is proper consciousness or not; I don't know whether what I know of my being is my proper being or not; but I do know where my rapture is. So let me hang on to rapture, and that will bring me both my consciousness and my being." I think it worked.

Bloody Monday

Dear bloggie,

Tis drama is nicknamed "Japanese 24". While the format is not 24 hour style, the action and drama is not short of 24.

A Russia Town was wiped out due to a biological terrorist attack on Christmas. Third-I, Japanese chop down version of FBI suspects this bunch of terrorist next target is Tokyo hence they roped in the genius hacker Takagi Fujimaru that goes by the alias "Falcon" to hack into the Russian Secret Service server for any clue on this incident. Things take a big turn as Takagi's father, an agent of Third-I seem to have defected to the terrorist side. Takagi vows to uncover the truth of "Bloody Monday" as he walks into a web of deceptions, lies, revenge and betrayal which unveil hidden agendas of the peoples of both side of this deadly cat and mouse game.

Smoking hot Katase Nana

Cool thing about this jdrama without a doubt is the small bits of hacking that Takagi does. I seen some programming lines from java to lambda. Takagi's hacking while seem too godlike, some part does have computer sound logic. I especially like one part where to crack a file's encryption, Takagi utilizes the Internet to use the bunch of computer and server there to brute force his way through the file encryption. Also not to mention the japanese chick "Katase Nana" which plays a Third-I agent is smoking hot, too bad her characters had to kick the bucket mid season, damn tiu... The story is believable for most part, the most biggest flaw perhaps is that all characters is related. I find that kinda of too hard to shallow like the terrorist group consisting mostly of Japos.

Oh ya, almost forgot. Also got Kamen Rider Den-O in this drama. Hehehe... Though he didn't henshin...

Kamen Rider W kick me outta my Sunday spot, so now I terrorizing the world instead...

Overall a great way to utilize your free time... Recommended watch.

Threesome

Dear bloggie,

Why izt does I never seem to have the luck of Suke the Sucker when in GYM? Damn tiu, today he hit jackpot during yoga class today. Got a special pose that need 3 people. He ended up in group with 2 other chicks. The pose is dunno called "Opening Lotus" or something lotus, practically is a pose where 3 people will have their back to each other with their heel touching each others heels, forming a small circle. Then will more their butt to touch all 3 butts together and do a forward bend. When in forward bend position, will cross up right and left hand and grab hold of a partner hand. Just imagine crossing one's hands left to right and right to left and go into a forward fold position, then left hand will grab a hand from the partner on the right and the right hand will grab the hand of partner on the left (Hand will position between inner thighs). Then last step is to secure each other hands and move one's butt over one's head, hence the motion of the a lotus opening (Butt close together = lotus close, when butt over head = lotus open). If done properly would have a nice stretch sensation in both hamstrings.

Up up, Down down

Dear bloggie,

Today for variation to my normal workout routine, I decided to do use some weight machine in the gym. Around 3 months+ since I last touch one of these machine since I do free weights with my cheap + lousy dumbbells at home. Results, up up, down down. I'm very satisfy with my improvement in shoulder press machine. Last time really struggle to do 30kg, now can handle 35kg, I suspect can even handle 40kg (next workout will test). But leg show deprovement, leg extension maintain at 35kg while leg curl drop from 35kg to 30kg. I quite expected my leg strength to drop since my free weight my leg workout are quite shitty with the light dumbbell I have. Hence I decided to utilize machine weights for my leg workout since I can't afford to buy more weights for the time being (F*ckin expensive, around RM 10 per 1kg. Wanna buy 4 x 5kg = +RM200. Damn tiu).

Anyway, nothing out of the normal happening lately for me. Normal routine. Sleep, wake up, eat, work from home, go jogging or go gym, eat, sleep. My lack of socializing is starting to worsen my already worst communication skills. Frankly speaking, I dun really care if my communication skills go to holland but the fact that I might need to come back to slave market soon, abit worried.

Think twice?

Dear bloggie,

How not to act when ur a jury...

Tis drama reminds me of an old English movie, I think is 12 Angry Man, Monkey or something. The question that this drama raises is where do a jury draw the line? Should the jury make a verdict based on the evidence raised during court? Or should he based it upon what his feelings? Or should he based it upon the truth despite lack of evidence?

Personally I think this drama portraits the weakness in the jury system. The jury themselves are often biased when making the verdict. Some make their verdict based on feeling, their personal experience, their selfish personal reasons, etc. Hence the final verdict is often f*cked up, distorted, not justified...

Evil

Dear bloggie,

It's sometimes frightening, the evil we humans are capable of doing. We boost to be the most intellectual being in this planet yet we sometimes can act worst than animals. Where did this evil came from? Were we born with such evil in us?

My friend became a victim of a snatch thief recently. He was mug at Klang bus station at around 8.30pm. The snatch thief grab his bag from behind and he got hurled to the ground. He fainted and was lucky to only ended up with some minor injuries to his hands and legs.

Being a twisted farked, I have to say I can understand why such crime exists. Some people are really pushed by circumstances (family, debt, society, upbringing, etc) to do such a thing. But what I can't comprehend is why the need to injured others in the process. The numbers of these snatch crimes have been getting really serious these few years. Imagine the impact from getting rip from behind by someone on a motorbike. Any shit can happen, you head might hit a hard thing and BAM! You can ended up dead! And there are such cases already...

Why can these people do such a thing, knowing they could end up killing someone? Is the situation so desperate they need to resort to killing someone for money? I personally think most of these people simply don't care. Don't care if what they are doing is wrong, don't care if maybe their victim need the $ more than them, don't care if they hurt someone, don't care if they kill someone, don't care if they kill someone's son, don't care if they kill someone's mother, etc... When I see in the papers where got public beat the crap outta these snatch thieves, I will say "Kudos", "Well done", "Good job" (Note: Only if these snatch thieves are really snatch thieves). Why should we care about what happens to these thieves when they don't care what happens to us? I understand that everyone deserves to a descent proper trial but I just feel "Why do they deserve mercy when their victims were given none?"

It's evil to deliver your own justice upon such people they say, but if you apply the same logic, isn't it just as evil to do inaction? How many of us would just stand at one corner to "see show" if someone screams for help when they get nab by a snatch thief? How many of us risk our life to chase and apprehend these snatch thief? How many more are willing to dirty their hands to deliver fury upon these snatch thief?

Dear bloggie,

Al Lah, Dun like tat lah...

Yoyo bloggie,

I think there is huge confusion in Malaysia recently about the word "Allah" problem. Here is my thoughts on this issue..

For me, this problem can't be lump as 1 thing and say u agree or disagree. I see this rather as smaller issues that been wrongly lump together as one pile of sh*t. The way I see it:

1. Church Arsonist

Simple, "terrorist". No other word for it. Yeah, these dudes are waging jidah for their god... But their god isn't Allah, it's themselves...

2. Govt

Flip floping like usual...

3. Police

Seriously, they really need restructure their whole resource allocation. We can have some police attending polls, opposition ceramahs, candle vigils, football matches, major roadblock during demonstration and etc yet claim they lack manpower. Logically, on such a major issue like this police should come up with statement "Will try best to protect churches and catch the arsonist, but caution churches to also take precaution measures too as lack manpower" but instead "Churches need own self take precaution measure", make sounds like Police dun care. Seriously, they need learn PR skill, maybe can loan from Najib's PR team.

4. Najib

I sometimes wonder why we even have a PM post? To pay him a nice hefty wage for nothing? No proper statement on his stand on his whole issue. Does he agree? Does he not? Atas pagar? Instead he spending more time playing Facebook & taking picture with kids posing for 1Malaysia.

5. Hissamuddin

This guy is really funny. People being sarcastic ask him use ISA on the arsonist, he take for real. Damn LOL.

6. MCA

Again, the man at the helm that got screwed but refuses to quit, make stupid pointless statement. "Don't point finger at BN". People church kena bakar, and the 1st statement he makes is not "F*ck these retarded arsonist" or "We always get our man" but a political one? Also what are the opinions of the rest of the MCA? All quiet one?

7. Gerakan

After their ah tau poster kena pijak and tear by a dude that recently been pardon, total silence from this party.

8. MIC

8. Kit Siang

Sorry, but i practice "Innocent until proven guilty". Despite feeling like Kit Siang, I think it's improper for him to blame whoever he is blaming without proper proof.

9. Christian whom insist on "Allah" word

Divided on my stand here. A part say they are correct for fighting for their right to use that word while another part say why even bother insisting. I more incline towards just replace the damn word with something else la. It's not even a word core to their teaching anyway, so why not a bit of compromise? Kiasu want to win mah give them win lor...

10. Muslim whom insist "Allah" word is exclusive to them

If a muslim is mute, blind and deaf, does that means he can't pray to his god since he can say, see or hear the word "Allah"? If the creator really wanted the word "Allah" to be exclusive only to a selective few, wouldn't it make sense that he have the power to make only those selected few able to say, write or hear this word? I think these bunch are just really mixing their ego into religion. Hence these bunch just want "Allah" to be exclusive to them for their own reasons but claim is for their religion.

And the demonstration where got a dude take a banner "Melayu dipijak sampai nama Allah pun dipijak", please... Tell me how is Melayu dipijak? Govt staff how many % is Melayu? Universities in Malaysia what is the ratio % of Melayu? Beli rumah how much is discount for Melayu? Super Jutawan Melayu RM 20 million resort how many in Malaysia?

I surf at 7 MB persecond...

Dear bloggie,

Imagine surfin through the World Wide Web at the blazing speed of 2-7 MB per seconds (No best effort crap)... With our TMNET f*ckin monopoly, indeed will still be a dream for normal Malaysians.

I however had the chance to surf on that superb speed. I was setting up a server for a client. The remote connection was pretty pathetic but when I started to d/l the normal software for the server, I was taken aback by the blazing d/l speed. It took me less than 2 minutes to d/l Mysql 5 Server, which sized a pretty whooping 100+ MB (An average of 2MB persec). Most amazing is when I download Java 6 which sizes 70+MB, I was WTF!!!?? Top speed hit 7MB persec!!!??? Took only a few seconds to download finish... I see, I click, I wow & I finish download de...

I REALLY envy those with such bandwidth. Imagine what I could do if I had such bandwidth at my disposal! I could stream porn download movies + mp3 + games without the need of waiting like sohai due to my piss d/l speed... But really la, TMF*CK should stop diverting their $ into stupid ads that either boost their syok sendiri superiority or to blast their competitors and instead pump it into improving their already f*ckin obsolute infrastructure and not to mention customer service. Atleast hire some people at customer service that have IQ of 80 and above la...

Shinya Shokudo

Dear bloggie,

When a day is over and people head home,
it is time when my day starts.

This is our menu.
If a customer orders something else,
I'll make it as long I can.
That's my management philosophy.

My diner opens at midnight,
and stays open until about 7am.
People call it "Late Night Diner".

You wonder if I get customers?
In truth, I get a few...

Shinya Shokudo (Late Night Diner)

A rare gem I found while haunting www.dramacrazy.net. As you probably know, I'm a sucker for dramas that has capture the struggle of normal people that are lost, confused and lonely in their everyday life. This is one of those dramas. I was capture by this particular description for this drama which lead me to watch the 1st episode.

Description: Set in a small diner in the corner of a shopping district. The unusual eatery is only open after midnight, and its standard menu consists of just a single choice. However, the customers still come for the amusing chatter and the proprietor's willingness to cook any dish that they request. This drama depicts the lives of the diner's patrons, including a yakuza, an unsuccessful actor, a group of office ladies, a newspaper delivery boy, and a stripper.

After watching episode 1, there was nothing that could stop me from watching the other 9 episodes. Watching this drama makes me wish there was such Late Night Diner here too. A small and simple diner situated at one hidden corner of the busy city, A quiet place where you can escape from the chaos, A place where you can spend you lonely time at, A place where you can eat your favorite simple meal.

The main character, a rather old man that we only know is called "Master" is the owner of a small diner located in the back alleys of the busy city of Shinjuku. This diner opens from 12am to 7am, and only has one thing in their menu, . However the Master policy is that anything else that the patrons want to eat that the master can dish up, he will cook it. Most of the patrons of this diner come to eat their favorite dish and to have a friendly chat with the owner and as well as the other patrons there.

Every episode typically tells the story as the Master recalls it of the patron of this diner. Among the patrons are a yakuza, a rather old gay, 3 office single aunty, a karaoke box enka singer, a porn star (Got a holy shit scene where he do japanese p0rn thing with a bunch of naked actresses), a newspaper boy, and etc. Each tale is linked to a simple dish that these patron order at the diner which hold special significant to them. In the heart of each story lies the hidden wisdom of live life as simply as the simple dish that we enjoy to eat. The Master main involvement in each of these story are often minimal, often just to cook the dish for the patron and offer friendly chats with them. He does however on rare occasion offer simple advice, not the fancy long winded explanation or soul touching advice, but often is his advice is straight forward simple.

Who really is this Master is a question that was never answer through this series, as unlike most series that often have at least 1 arc that resolves on the main characters, there was none that resolve on Master. Only a small teaser was released in the final episode near the end on the Master's scar on his eye but the mystery on who is this Master and why open this diner remains unresolved (Maybe season 2?).

The scenes are well taken, especially the amazing strolling scenes of the streets of Shinjuku at night. The music is well matched with the show's overall theme, rather slow & traditional styled especially the OP. Also alot of dishes are showcased (For instance Neko Manma, Butter Rice, Potato Salad, Ramen, Katsu Don) and at the end of each episode there is a short segment where the Master teaches or give tips on making these dishes.

The major complain I have for this series is the length of each episode which only span around 30 minutes. This results in the inability to connect with some of the characters as some of the patrons only featured for 1 episode.

Overall a great non action drama series to watch. Love the overall concept, theme, characters and storyline for this drama. I heard that this drama is actually an adaption from a manga, I definitely will hunt down this manga.

Happy New Year

Dear bloggie,

Just another 10 years to 2020...

Anyway, if anyone ever plan to go to Greenbox Bukit Tinggi, my advise is dun.... Go to Neway Centro instead!

What better way to kick of this new 2010 year but by posting the predictions for another disaster year in the making:

Horoscope for Leo's

Oh, big playful Leo -- how the last couple of years have been dramatic (and often less than kind) for you! There's little doubt that whatever you've gone through in the last year, the uppers have fueled your inherent charm and lovability, and the downers have gotten a little ignored. That's one of the problems with being a Leo: you can be so sunny that no one notices the rainy days. Mars in your sign this spring is going to give you newfound energy and motivation to really get things done your way, and the summer will bring new opportunities to express yourself.

The challenges will be slowly changing from big drama to smaller, more manageable issues. You've probably been too busy taking care of others to really take care of yourself lately, but 2010 marks a new direction in taking yourself seriously, and taking care of yourself with the due diligence and concern you usually reserve for others. Don't think of it as becoming inwardly-focused; think of it as doing the necessary maintenance on yourself so you can do a better job of letting your light shine for others.

Life is going to be taking a turn for the philosophical in the next year. All of the noise and confusion of the last year may have made you neglect your Higher Self; that too should be a part of your personal care regimen. This year is going to provide ample opportunities for you to get caught up on your spiritual homework. And, unlike regular homework, you'll probably feel like there's a point to doing it!

(Copy & Paste from Yahoo Astrology)

I find the sunny, charm, lovability & busy caring for others part VERY HARD to believe. As for spiritual change, I openly welcome ANYTHING that can jump start my desire to live life.
